According to Real Madrid's UEFA coefficient rankings, they have 131.500 points, leading Bayern Munich (124.250 points), Inter Milan (121.250 points), Manchester City (117.750 points), Liverpool (115.500 points), and last year's Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain (109.500 points).
The club coefficient rankings are based on performances in the Champions League, Europa League, and UEFA Cup over the past five seasons, during which Real Madrid won the Champions League twice.
