The K League 1 has officially announced its schedule for the 2026 season. The opening round will feature a matchup between newly promoted Incheon United and FC Seoul. During the main stage of the World Cup, the K League will also take a break.

The first round of the regular season is scheduled for February 28, while the final round (Round 38) will be played on October 24. After the conclusion of Round 15, which will be held on May 16 and 17, the K League 1 will enter a mid-season break to make way for the final stage of the 2026 World Cup. The league will resume with Round 16 on July 4 and 5.

The league stated, “The 2026 K League 1 schedule announced this time may be adjusted or postponed depending on the schedules of teams participating in the 2025–2026 AFC Champions League.” After the completion of Round 33 of the regular season, the league will enter the playoff stage. The playoff stage will cover Rounds 34 to 38, with each team playing five matches.
