The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has officially announced that the West Zone knockout matches of the AFC Champions League Elite, originally scheduled for this week, have been postponed.
In light of the evolving situation in the Middle East, the AFC has confirmed that the first-leg matches of the AFC Champions League Elite West Zone Round of 16, initially set to take place on March 2–3, will be rescheduled. In addition, AFC Champions League Two and AFC Challenge League matches involving West Asian teams, scheduled for March 3–4, have also been postponed until further notice. AFC club competitions involving East Asian clubs will proceed as planned.
The AFC will continue to closely monitor the rapidly developing situation and remains firmly committed to ensuring the safety and security of all players, teams, officials, and fans.
