According to The Sun, ahead of England’s semi-final clash with Argentina, Jude Bellingham relieved some of the pressure by relaxing with his teammates and playing the card game Skyjo to unwind.

Bellingham shared several photos on his personal Instagram account, showing moments of him resting at England’s team base in Kansas City and preparing for a game of cards with his teammates.

Skyjo is a fast-paced card game similar to UNO, where players compete to achieve the lowest possible score. The game has reportedly become Bellingham’s favourite pastime during this World Cup. It is understood that Bellingham brought the deck with him to the United States for the tournament, and now the entire squad has become hooked on it.

Midfielder Morgan Rogers said in an interview:

“Bellingham brought the cards with him. It’s quite a new little game for us. I had never seen it before, but now the whole team can’t stop playing it.”
