PSG Push Harder for Suzuki as Juventus Face Transfer Setback

    0 0

Paris Saint-Germain are preparing an improved offer for Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, putting Juventus in a difficult position in their pursuit of the Japan international. PSG previously saw a proposal worth €28 million plus €5 million in bonuses rejected, but the French champions are now ready to return with a more attractive package.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is reportedly prepared to put forward a deal worth around €35 million including bonuses. Further discussions between PSG and Parma are expected to resume soon, with the French club increasingly confident that an agreement can be reached. Suzuki is also believed to be open to a move to Paris, which could represent a major step forward in his career.

The situation is a blow for Juventus, who have identified Suzuki as one of their preferred options to strengthen the goalkeeper position. Luciano Spalletti has reportedly viewed the 23-year-old as an ideal target, but PSG’s financial strength could give them a significant advantage in the race. Parma, meanwhile, have little reason to accept Juventus terms if a much larger offer arrives from Paris.

Juventus could still have a way to bring Suzuki to Turin if PSG complete the transfer. The Italian club are reportedly considering a loan arrangement directly from the French champions, although such a move would depend on PSG’s plans for the goalkeeper. If Suzuki arrives in Paris, Juventus may have to wait for PSG to decide whether he will be part of their immediate plans or available for a temporary move elsewhere.
