AC Milan are continuing their busy summer rebuild by reaching an agreement with RC Strasbourg for the transfer of Belgian winger Diego Moreira. The Italian giants are reportedly prepared to pay around €50 million for the 22-year-old, with additional clauses potentially increasing the overall value of the deal.
Moreira has also agreed to join Milan after turning down other offers to make the move to San Siro. The winger has impressed since joining Strasbourg from Chelsea in 2024 and became an important part of the French club’s starting lineup last season, recording five goals and nine assists across the campaign.
His performances have also earned him a place in Belgium’s squad for the 2026 World Cup. Milan believe Moreira has significant room for development and could become an important player for the club in the coming seasons. His pace, attacking ability and versatility have made him an attractive option during Milan’s ongoing squad reconstruction.
The move is also believed to be connected to Rafael Leao’s uncertain future at San Siro. With the Portuguese winger reportedly considering an exit, Milan are already preparing for the possibility of losing one of their key attacking players. Moreira is therefore viewed as a potential long-term replacement as the Rossoneri continue reshaping their squad.
