AS Roma are emerging as a potential destination for Endrick Felipe if the Brazilian forward continues to struggle for regular playing time at Real Madrid. The 19-year-old has seen his progress disrupted by injury and has yet to make a significant appearance this season, although he was included in the squad for the recent meeting with Inter. With competition for attacking places increasing, particularly following the impressive form of Carlos Espí, Endrick could consider a temporary move in January to gain valuable playing time.
Roma are reportedly monitoring the situation closely as coach Gianpiero Gasperini assesses the squad ahead of the winter transfer window. The Italian side have made a perfect start to their Serie A campaign and are aiming to challenge for major honours, but Gasperini is already considering areas that could be strengthened. Endrick is viewed as an intriguing option because of his pace, technical ability and potential, with the Roma coach reportedly considering using him from the left side of the attack despite that not being his natural position.
A move to Roma, however, would not be straightforward because several clubs are also interested in signing Endrick on loan. Liverpool are among the teams believed to be monitoring the situation, with the Brazilian seen as a player capable of adding greater attacking depth. AC Milan are also regarded as a serious contender, while the level of competition for places at Liverpool could potentially influence Endrick’s preference if he decides that leaving Madrid temporarily is the best option.
Much will ultimately depend on Endrick’s situation at Real Madrid over the next few months. If opportunities remain limited, a January loan could provide the young forward with the regular minutes needed to continue his development at the highest level. Roma could offer an attractive environment under Gasperini, particularly given the club’s strong start and ambitious objectives, but the final decision will rest on where Endrick believes he can make the biggest impact and accelerate his progress.
