Indonesia have yet to welcome Adrian Wibowo, Miliano Jonathans, and Mees Hilgers into the squad as all three continue their rehabilitation. Another concern surrounds Jay Idzes, who suffered an issue during Sassuolo’s match against Juventus on September 14, 2026. The 26-year-old defender started the game but was forced to leave the field in the 81st minute, with his latest condition still unclear.

Vietnam are facing similar problems, with several players also struggling to reach full fitness. Nguyen Hoang Duc is reportedly dealing with a muscle injury and could be sidelined for two to three weeks, while Nguyen Tai Loc has yet to return to training. Indonesia will compete in Group A alongside Malaysia, Singapore, and Bangladesh, while Vietnam are placed in Group B with Thailand, the Philippines, and Pakistan.
